The band Pina Colada from Nuuk is made from the rind of the pineapple. It is not the fruit, but the plant that is grown in the Philippines. The pineapples are harvested for food consumption and the leaves are also harvested to obtain this natural fiber. Thus no overconsumption of water, farming or pesticides is necessary.

It is a light, durable, robust and eco-responsible material. Innovative and ecological, this fiber is labeled by the organizations: PETA, AFIRM GROUP or GOTS.

The fiber is composed of 80% pineapple and 20% PLA: bio-plastic from corn.

    I hesitated for a long time before ordering such an original band , it's not every day that we wear a fruit as a band ^^ I used my loyalty points to decide and I don't regret it! The vegan aspect didn't speak to me that much but I liked the texture and I wasn't disappointed. It is so soft and comfortable I love it so much ?

Hello, the band in 41mm fits a wrist from 140mm to 175mm. The 45/49mm size fits a wrist from 165mm to 190mm :)

Hello, because there is PLA. Isn't band water-resistant? Another question, would the band allow the watch to float in the case of nautical activity? Julien requested on July 14, 2023

Thank you for your question, the band is not designed to go in water, it will no longer be guaranteed if it is submerged. I recommend the bands "sport" or "fabric" for water use. However, none of our bands allow the watch to float.
