Cork oak forest, southern Portugal
The band Starmania de Nuuk is made from the bark of a tree: the cork oak. It is 100% naturally produced in Spain and Portugal. The cork used for this band comes from the scraps left after cutting, so there is no waste.
The exploitation of this material requires very little water and makes its production very economical. Ecological, cork is a raw material coming fromself-healing trees and therefore its use does not harm the environment. The golden flakes come from eco-responsible channels.
Flexible and offering good water resistance, cork is also light, durable and anti-electrostatic. It does not attract or absorb dust, which makes it particularly appreciated by people with allergies and asthma.
