Determine your wrist size
An ideally worn watch strap, should neither be too tight nor not enough. In general, the male wrist measures 15 to 19 cm while the female measures 14 to 18 cm.
In order to determine the ideal length of your bracelet, you will have to start by taking the measurement of the circumference of your wrist.
Take your measurements
To measure your wrist, bring a meter of seamstress, if you don’t have one, use a string or a tape and then put it on a ruler. Wrap your wrist loosely, once you get the measurement, round to half a centimeter above.
For example: 15.2cm measured = 15.5cm

Choose your Apple Watch band
All the straps sold by Band-Band are measured attached to an Apple Watch to help you choose the right Apple Watch strap. On each product sheet you will find the mention “Suitable for wrist size between XXmm and XXmm” .
If as in the example above you have obtained a wrist measurement of 15,5cmm this corresponds to 155mm.
Certain bracelet colors in the same collection may have different sizes. The Simple tour leather band Made in France for example is smaller in white than in gold, certain colors being preferred for women and others for men.

Lugs
If you want to order a band for a watch other than the Apple Watch you will need to know the width of the lugs.
If you want to choose the perfect width for your watchband, you need to measure the width between the two lugs, ideally using a caliper but a simple ruler can also do the trick.
To change a watchband or the buckle, you may need this installing tool, which will make the removal and replacement easier, and may save your fingernails.
The lug width may vary from one watch to another
The lug width is the maximum width of a compatible watchband with a watch. You can choose a smaller width than your lug but the result may not be as beautiful as you wish.
